How can I submit my ideas or artwork for a book?

We are always interested in receiving book proposal submissions that may be suited to our art instruction publishing program. If you have an idea for a specific book or kit, please follow the two steps below:

1) Sign and return the Walter Foster Submission Agreement form, which you can download here: Walter Foster Submission Agreement. Please return the signed form via fax (949-380-7575), email (info@walterfoster.com), or postal mail to the following address:

2) View and follow the Walter Foster Submission Guidelines, which you can download here: Walter Foster Submission Guidelines. You can submit your proposal via email or postal mail using the addresses stated above. You may send copies of art or mock-ups, but please do not send us original art. Your proposal will not be returned unless you provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
