Create cool textures by taking rubbings of a variety of objects!

Drawing Technique: Rubbing

Firstcollect some flat objects that have interesting shapes and textures,such as leaves, lace, bracelets, buttons, paper clips, kitchen strainers, and place mats. (You can cut shapes you need, such as stars,out of thick paper.) Place the items under your drawing paper. Thenjust rub over them with crayons to make cool textures on your drawing.
